Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 9, 2026
Momo Focus (“Momo”) is a Chrome extension that provides focus timers, website blocking, YouTube Study Mode, customizable themes, and focus analytics. This policy explains how Momo handles information.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, Momo may receive your name, email address, Google account identifier, and authentication information. When synchronization is enabled, Momo stores focus and break sessions, analytics, blocked websites, and whitelist settings.
Local Data
Device preferences and custom background images are stored locally in Chrome. Custom images are not uploaded or shared with Momo.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, synchronize account data, provide analytics, apply blocking preferences, maintain Momo, and respond to support requests. Momo does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or create advertising profiles.
Third-Party Services
Momo uses Google for authentication and Supabase for authentication, database storage, and synchronization. These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services.
Website Processing
Momo may check opened website URLs locally to apply blocking rules and YouTube Study Mode. These URLs are not used for advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account data is retained while your Momo account remains active. You can reset analytics from Momo Settings. To request deletion of account-related data, email momo.focus@outlook.com.
Security
Momo uses Google authentication, Supabase access controls, Row Level Security, and encrypted connections to protect user data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when Momo’s features or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
